WINE DESCRIPTION
Alex Gambal Gevrey-Chambertin is a red wine made from Pinot Noir coming from the Côte de Nuits, Burgundy. The appellation is known for producing some of the most intense, brooding and tannic expressions of Pinot Noir from the region. Alex Gambal's comes from a minute plot planted with old vines. The grapes are sorted and fully de-stemmed before undergoing the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wines is then pressed off and transferred to new French barrels to mature on lees for around 16 months prior to bottling.

With further time in glass, additional layers of spice, forest floor, and a hint of meatiness reveal themselves. The tannins are well-integrated, providing structure and a silky texture that lingers on the finish.
