The small winery located in Monforte D'Alba, at the heart of the Barolo region, is managed by the brothers Alessandro and Gian Natale Fantino. They own vineyards in the finest Barolo terroirs and have achieved the highest recognition for Italian wine, the coveted "Tre Bicchieri" (Three Glasses) award in the "Gambero Rosso" wine guide multiple times.

The Barolo Riserva "Vigna dei Dardi" by the Fantino brothers is an incredibly intense and profound wine.It presents itself with a robust ruby-red hue in the glass and offers intense aromas of red fruits and tobacco on the palate, making these its defining characteristics. The wine boasts a long, complex, and intense finish, as one would naturally expect from a Barolo Riserva of this caliber.
Fantino's Barolos pair exceptionally well with game dishes, beef, and slow-cooked preparations. Serving temperature should be between 16-18 degrees Celsius. It is advisable to open and decant it ahead of time to fully appreciate its qualities.
