WINE DESCRIPTION
Alban Vineyards Seymour's is a Shiraz hailing from the Edna Valley of Central Coast California and is widely considered to be one of the finest wines of the entire appellation. Seymour’s is fermented in open top fermenters using native yeasts with a focus on heavy extraction in order to build a highly structured and age-worthy wine. Maturation lasts for around three and a half years in a mix of new and used French oak barrels.

Alban Vineyards Seymour's leaps from the glass with notes of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of spice, cedar, and a touch of vanilla.The palate reveals a harmonious balance between dense, dark fruit and well-integrated velvety tannins. The palate is filled with luscious flavors of black plum, blackberries, and a subtle touch of dark chocolate coupled with spice. This is a wine that is built for long-term aging and will improve after a decade or two in bottle.
