WINE DESCRIPTION
Adobe Road Bavarian Lion Vineyard Cabernet Franc comes from a site tucked away in north eastern Sonoma County, near Calistoga in Napa Valley. This area is marked by its warm climate and ancient rocky soils that leads to smaller, more intense berries. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the grapes are pressed off into oak barrels to lift the aromatics, enhance the mouthfeel, and help round out the tannins to create a powerful, age-worthy wine designed to improve in bottle.

This Adobe Road Cabernet Franc is an elegant and complex wine with a deep ruby color.On the nose, aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and subtle hints of violets and tobacco are present. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and firm acidity that provide a backbone to the wine. The flavors of ripe dark fruit, baking spices, and earthy undertones complement the intense floral notes that linger on the long finish.
