WINE DESCRIPTION

Abacela Private Selection is made from the semi-aromatic Albariño variety grown in the Umpqua Valley of Southern Oregon. Whilst this variety is perhaps better known for the wines it produces on the Iberian Peninsula, in the regions of Minho and Rias Baixas, on the west coast of the United States, it produces bright, peach flavored, delicately floral wines with refreshing acidity. The wine is vinified in stainless steel before being aged for a brief period in used American oak barrels prior to its release.

On the palate, this Albariño continues to impress with its refreshing and well-balanced nature. The fruit flavors take center stage, with zesty lemon and peach dominating the taste. These flavors are accompanied by a pleasant acidity that adds liveliness and a crisp mouthfeel.
