WINE DESCRIPTION
A.F. Gros Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 'Clos des Guettes' is crafted by Domaine Anne Francoise Gros, an estate that was created in 1988. The winery is located in Pommard and are now consider one of the finest producers in the village. The Premier Cru 'Clos des Guettes' is located on the most western side of Savigny-lès-Beaune. It covers 13 hectares of vines on south-facing hillside with water-retain, clay soils. Grapes are destemmed and cold fermented, before being aged in oak barrels for 12 months prior to its release.

The A.F.Gros Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 'Clos des Guettes' has a pale ruby color typical of a thin-skinned variety like Pinot Noir.
On the nose, fresh red fruits, such as cherries, strawberries and raspberries reveal themselves in the glass. The palate displays a harmonious balance between fruit concentration, lively acidity, and silky tannins.
