90+ Cellars Lot 144 Riserva Chianti is a structured, dry, red wine with resolved grainy tannins, a cherry and savory herb flavor profile and a vibrant acidity that makes it very food friendly. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the wider Chianti region of central Italy's Tuscany region. This wines is a Reserva meaning that the wines has been aged for longer than normal, in this case for 3 years, before release. The additional maturation time has allowed the grainy tannins to resolve further into the wine adding a softeness to the otherwise firm structure. This is a good choice for drinkers who find normal Chianti too astringent.
