Minho
Bold and complex wine with a understated nose of jasmine, violet, and earthy notes, accompanied by a medium-bodied smoothness and a semi-dry finish. though it is drinkable, it falls short of expectations due to a lack of boldness and pronounced flavors. The dense fruit notes, such as plum and cassis, are present but subtle, and licorice, anise, and ash profiles are also noticeable, but not as intense as one might expect for the price. The wine is already 8-9 years old and may benefit from further aging. It is a solid French Bordeaux that is worth returning to, but it is not a stellar in its class.
